So question.
Sometimes I’ll zone out and I go blind? because when I zone back in, it’s like I’m seeing all new. Like today I was chilling on my bed and started thinking ab how cool it is when people put cards on there bike wheels and it makes that neat noise
But when I stoped I suddenly realized that when I was thinking, I hadn’t actually seen anything in front of my face. It didn’t go black, I just stoped seeing. I do it a lot especially in class and I didn’t know if it was because of adhd or if I was weird

Yeah, so that’s related to ADHD. When we’re hyperfocused on something—whether that’s something we’re looking at irl, or something we’re daydreaming about—we usually just… stop perceiving everything else. It all becomes part of the background, and we don’t notice it. Right up until a loud noise/some other sensory shock happens to snap us out of it.
