minho said that he was very hesitant to speak about jonghyun to others (in the past), but now he believes speaking up about him is better. he said they know fans want them to speak more about jonghyun. he stated that being able to “talk about it” is “something good for jonghyun hyung”, and that he believes that jonghyun sees that they are working hard and is supporting them.

kibum said that he has overcome the situation / feeling of “being careful” when mentioning jonghyun, and he wants everyone to be cherishing memories of jonghyun and remember him. he also said that, when he thinks of jonghyun, he feels a sense of warmth and says that he hopes others can talk about him warmly as well. during their vlive for shinee’s anniversary, “prism” was chosen by shawols as one of the top b-sides of the group. when discussing the song, kibum and minho shared stories regarding the recording process of the song.

kibum shared that “prism” initially didn’t have a climax, but rather a “sound”. jonghyun thought this part of the original song was a little lacking and talked with the producer. he told the producer he would write that part and did just that. kibum said, it was after this point, that it “became a meaningful song”. it was further mentioned that, because jonghyun wrote the song, his opinions were included a lot while making it. originally, there was no doubling rap in the chorus for minho but, while they were recording those parts, parts were added for him impromtly which minho thanked him for.
